Eurovia Group Ltd is a leading provider in the highway maintenance industry. The Group consists of three business areas with a combined turnover of £400m. The three business streams are:
Term Services: This part of the business undertakes highway maintenance for local authorities across the UK. The range of service includes surfacing, civil engineering, road marking and traffic management. Current clients include Worcestershire County Council, North Yorkshire County Council and Shropshire County Council.
Contracting and Production: Eurovia are in a unique position where they can self-deliver most of their activities through the vertical integration of the businesses. Contracting is made up of specialist businesses such as Eurovia Surfacing who carryout major carriageway surfacing projects. Eurovia Specialist Surfacing provides decorative surfacing and surface dressing to the industry and Euromark who are a road marking division.
Production and manufacturing consists of two stone coating plants which manufactures asphalt material along with two factories who manufacture thermoplastic and vertical highway signs.
The third business streams are the Group’s joint venture companies. These are BEAR Scotland who maintains 75% of the highway network north of the boarder. The second is South West Highways who maintain the highways network in Devon. The third joint venture is Ringway Jacobs who maintain the roads in North West London, Buckinghamshire and Essex.
Eurovia Group is owned by Eurovia SA who are the second largest highway maintenance company in Europe. In tern Eurovia SA is owned by Vinci who are one of the world’s largest construction companies.
