It is intended that there will be common standards driven by Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC) in its role as the Client. The standards will outline the minimum requirements necessary to reduce risk of exposure to hazardous substances, and physical hazards such as noise and vibration. These minimum standards will apply to all work on site. The standards will be drafted and communicated to the Safety, Health, Environment, Leadership Team (SHELT) which is comprised of senior mangers from all of the contractors and stakeholders involved in the project. Each party will engage with their workforce and take feedback to SHELT where the final version of the standard will be agreed, authorised and mandated as the minimum standard. The standards will be drafted and approved by end of Q1 2015.
