A-one + shall deliver on this pledge through including Health and Wellbeing in our highest level business strategy, by complying with our Occupational health policy and by meeting our Health and Wellbeing action plan.
We shall carry out health assessments in line with our policy for safety critical workers and will make health assessment and surveillance available to all employees.
We shall review results of assessments and monitor employees exhibiting any work associated conditions and take all reasonable steps to avoid exposing our employees to hazards that may give rise to occupational health issues.
We shall pursue best practice techniques to reduce the risk of injury, manual handling as an example.
We shall provide access to counselling for any one requiring it and we shall be proactive in providing support where the need can be anticipated.
We shall continue to carry our drug and alcohol testing for all new employees and our supply chain at induction.
We shall ensure adequate and appropriate welfare facilities are available to all office and site employees.
We shall develop a programme of Health and Wellbeing topics to be covered over the year such as dust, vibration, noise, blood pressure, diabetes, heart health, stress and mental wellness.
We will share our plans and initiatives with our supply chain and sub contractors.
