Responsibility Deal Pledge Delivery Plan.
Osborne joined the Department of Health, Public Health Responsibility Deal in April 2014 and has produced this delivery plan to assist in communicating the message of how we aim to deliver our pledge to our employees and Sub-contractors
Osborne has signed up to Pledge H10 (The Construction Pledge). This pledge has three key areas:
1. Annual reporting of the health and well-being of our employees (and Sub-Contractors).
2. Providing competent clinical occupational health services to support effective health management.
3. Actively promote health and wellbeing and the effective management of health.
Key Area 1. Annual reporting of the health and well-being of our employees (and Sub-Contractors).
The Company HR department will monitor staff sickness through Open People and supply a three monthly report to the group board. The company HSEQ department will monitor accidents across the business and provide a report to the group board to show employees and Sub-contractors. These will also be trending by sector and type.
An annual report will be produced to sectors and the group board.
Sector will be responsible for producing and reviewing actions plans to help the continued good health of their workforce supported by Group resources.
Common areas across the group will be identified by the Director responsible for HSEQ and the Group Director for HR and they will produce a plan is provided to or presentation to the board and review sector plans.

Key Area 2. Providing competent clinical occupational health services to support effective health management.
Osborne with help from our Occupational Health provider (Alere Healthcare Connections). Will discuss methods of supporting our employees with all matters regarding Occupational Health and the methods used to ensure the support is communicated in an easy understand method.
Together producing campaigns to cover the key risk to our employees.
We will also use our Company health Insurance scheme provider who will supply a 24/7 confidential Helpline providing help and advice to all employees and their families.
With our supply chain partners visit sites to discuss and demonstrate new equipment and PPE available to reduce the risk to employeeâ€™s health.
Key Area 3. Actively promote health and wellbeing and the effective management of health.
Osborne Occupational Health initiatives will be headed by the Director for HR and the Director for HSEQ, they have appointed occupational leads one from HR and one from HSEQ to ensure continuity of advice and liaison with Health providers.
A health and wellbeing team will be established with a representative from each sector.
Osborne Supply Chain will ensure that equipment made available will be of the latest design to ensure that employees are best protected against Occupational hazards such as Dust, Noise, and Vibration.
Our Occupational Health provider will supply support and guidance on mental health issues, monitoring the Health of employees through health checks and questionnaires. They will also supply site visits to site to undertake health workshops and toolbox talks to ensure understanding and best practices.
Group HSEQ will provide toolbox talks on health issues and each project will undertake one per month.
Each sector will report on occupational health issues for the month and a group KPI will be maintained to identify trends to help early identification and remedial action in a timely manner.
We will also participate with clients on any Health initiatives and maintain two way communications and passing on best practices.
