LBC have an Employee Wellness Management Group which meets quartely to discuss Health and Wellbeing actions within the Council. Reporting to the group is the Advanced Health Improvement Specialist leading on the Council's programme of work. The Management group includes: Head of HR, Senior Occupational Adviser and Director of Public Health. Regular input is given by Senior HR Adviser, Trade Unions and Programme Managers leading on specific issues affecting employees, e.g. Smoke Free Policy for the Council.

A baseline report (June 2013) of LBC's sickness rates and health and wellbeing was undertaken and presented to the Management Team (including Trade Unions and HR Committee.

Three reports have been produced:
- Luton Borough Council's Employee Wellness Action Plan
- General updated action plan as an Executive Report
- Draft Fast Track Physiotherapy Evaluation
