We have a number of staff with mental health conditions and we ensure that our flexible working conditions and individualised support enable each person to undertake their job with the minimum disruption.
We have explored how we can try to enhance the mental wellbeing of every employee of Integrate. We have delivered Mental Health awareness training to over 100 of our employees and made it a required training course. We also cover employee mental health in our initial induction programme. We have also identified a mental wellbeing champion in our senior management team who can offer advice and guidance.
We allow reasonable time off for medical appointments and arrange flexible working to accommodate health ups and downs if possible. We constantly review the support we offer to each employee and look at holistic factors which could be impacting on their mental wellbeing.
We noticed a significant number of our employees were subject to Domestic Violence which clearly had an impact on their wellbeing. We have also signed up to the DV pledge to show our support in this respect (reported separately)
We continue to offer an employee assistance programme to all of our staff and access to specialised psychotherapy if required.
For the coming year we aim to improve how we ‘safely’ identify those with mental health issues during the recruitment process so that support can be offered from day 1.
