We are working with our suppliers to reduce levels of saturated fat in our own brand products, without affecting taste and quality. This includes categories which are key contributors to saturated fat intake, such as spreads and margarines, ready meals, cakes and desserts.

Headline achievements so far include the following own brand products:

• M Kitchen Chicken Tikka Masala & Pilau Rice (77% reduction in sat fat)
• Chicken & Basil Pasta Bake (46% reduction in sat fat)
• Sweet & Sour Chicken with Egg Fried Rice (31% reduction in sat fat)
• Spreads (in April 2014 we re-launched our spreads range, including our spreadable, buttery, buttery light, olive light, sunflower spreads, with 10%-30% less saturated fat
