We constantly monitor absence levels on a monthly basis and the figures fall well below company targets. The figures are published in house for all employees to view and are discussed regularly at team meetings and at board level meetings. At present we have no plans to publish our absence figures externally.

We ensure medicals are carried out on a bi annual basis for all manufacturing employees and all employees are aware of and have access to an employee assistance programme for medical advice and lifestyle advice.

To promote health and well being, the company runs a health week every year to actively encourage all employees to think about their health and well being and be informed of ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Through our Social Committee, the company organises physical events that encourage employees to get active. These include, white water rafting, hill walking, golf outings and go karting. We will continue to promote health and wellbeing in the organisation and commit to continuing social, physical, events and monitoring and publishing absence levels internally.
