The principles for managing long term sick absence or chronic conditions are already embedded in EY’s policies and procedures. Our Absence Management policy and EY Help HR Team, support our managers to make reasonable adjustments to enable our employees to remain at work or return to work following a period of long term sick absence. We work closely with our occupational health providers to ensure that our employees have a supported return to work plan. In addition, EY managers have access to a guidance document for reasonable adjustments and MiDRAS (our provider of disability assessments and adjustments). EY already have a number of employee disability networks in place and future plans include events to continue to promote disability awareness across the business.
