Liverpool Heart and Chest Foundation Trust currently has a Health and Wellbeing Group which has an agreed terms of reference and meets monthly. During these meetings, members of the group have the opportunity to review a number of reports and other relevant information regarding staffing such as Staff Survey results and Employee Assistance Programme usage. The Trust pledges to continue to regularly present this reporting information to its Health and Wellbeing Group and any other key stakeholders within the Trust.
The Trust also pledges to ensure that health and wellbeing information is reported to workforce and that HR attend monthly Governance meetings for each directorate to present information such as monthly sickness figures.
The Trust has recently commenced a sickness trigger process whereby HR Assistant’s contact Managers to ensure that a consistent approach is being followed with regards to managing absence. The Trust therefore pledges to ensure that the information produced from this reporting tool is also presented at a workforce level, in Governance meetings and to other key stakeholders within the Trust where applicable.
The Trust also pledges to commence a survey process when promoting one off campaigns such as Dry January. The purpose of this will be to report on who takes part and whether they found the campaign supportive and successful. This information will be fed back to the Health and Wellbeing Group and other management within the Trust.
The Health and Wellbeing Group is subject to governance arrangements as such has its own terms of reference and strategy. The Trust pledges to continue to ensure this is up to date and relevant and to report this information to any relevant parties when applicable.
The above pledge has also been included in our Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2013 – 2015 to ensure a continual commitment throughout 2014 and beyond.
