Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides an in house Health and Wellbeing (Health4work) Service for 5800 Trust staff.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is registered with SEQOHS (Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service) and is preparing evidence for Accreditation to formally submit to SEQOHS in January 2013.
The principal aim of the Health4work Service is to assist the Trust in meeting its responsibilities towards maintaining the Health and Wellbeing of employees and thus promoting high quality patient care and safety by: Preventing ill-health arising from work Preventing illness affecting work performance Ensuring compliance with legislation and guidance by writing appropriate policies. Providing timely specialist advice on work-related health issues. Ensuring the workplace is a healthy and safe place by educating employer and employees.
Health4work provides 6 Core services to the Trust in accordance with the Department of Health NHS Health and Wellbeing Improvement Framework ( July 11).

The Service is participating in the recording of monthly data to the national MoHaWK (Management of Health at Work) clinical Registry in Occupational Health
