Lifestyle Health Assessments are available for all staff via the Health Work and Well-being Centre.

Lifestyle Health Assessments provide an excellent opportunity for staff to assess for and identify any health issues in their early stages and offers staff time to explore health and lifestyle choices

The assessment consist of a blood pressure testing, urinalysis, height, weight body mass index and random cholesterol testing. Each assessment gives the member of staff an opportunity to discuss any concerns, big or small about their health and well-being in a protected environment.

Each assessment is undertaken by an Occupational Health Nurse and advice is provided based on the consultation and results; recommendations and options for lifestyle changes may be offered. A personalised report is provided, which is concise and jargon free, which provides a breakdown and explanation of each aspect of the health check.

The assessments are offered on an appointment basis and are advertised on the HWWB Trust intranet site, via the Trust staff newsletter, through line managers and opportunistically following OH appointment.
