Kraft Foods in the UK has a long established Occupational Health (OH) Programme. We have a multi-disciplinary OH Team including a physician, specialist nurses, a physiotherapist, rehabilitation therapist, counsellor and administrative support staff. We have also invested in computerised medical records with specialised OH software which allows this team to track an employees health at work and ensure appropriate health surveillance and monitoring is undertaken.Future plansWe plan to sign up to the SEQOHS accreditation scheme at the beginning of 2012. During the year we will enter Stage One of the scheme the pre-accreditation phase which will allow us to benchmark our current programme against the standards set by SEQOHS.By the end of 2013 we will complete Stage Two of the accreditation scheme, signifying our commitment to meet the SEQOHS standards and achieve full accreditation no later than two years after enrolling into the process.A full reaccreditation assessment will be carried out under the terms of the SEQOHS scheme after five years (2018).
