Caloo design, supply and install high quality outdoor gyms. See http://www.caloo.co.uk for further details. Our gyms are certified by TUV to test standard 55012:2010 Training Equipment Placed in Public Spaces and offer a safe and affordable exercise opportunity that is inclusive and fun.Caloo would like to encourage communities and specifiers to be considerate of the abilities of all members of a community when purchasing or installing free to use Outdoor Gyms into community spaces, schools and leisure environments. These facilities should be inclusive for all members of communities and offer easily accessible activities in addition to more challenging exercise opportunities to encourage use by the whole community. We will work to achieve this in three main ways. Ensure as many potential providers and funders are aware of our product range and the benefits to local communities once installed. We will try to encourage all projects to include at least one item that can be used by a user of any ability over the age of 7 years.Encourage our clients to consider a range of products that are suitable for users of all abilities when providing equipment for community use. Encourage policy and decision makers and funders to take into account the motivations, abilities, preferences and affordability of all members of any community when designing new leisure strategies.
