Sponsorship is not a significant part of Wells Young's marketing mix however we can commit to taking part in agreeing a new code of conduct for sponsorship activity with The Portman Group.With regards poster advertising, Wells Young's brewing company is not currently conducting any poster advertising. We can commit that we will brief our media buying agency on any future campaigns that no posters should be placed within 100m of schools. However, we cannot commit to not displaying posters directly outside pubs which may be situated within the 100m restriction zone.Wells Young's and Charles Wells takes our responsibility towards protecting minors from alcohol advertising very seriously, however restricting advertising at a pub should not be included in this code.
