This is in addition to nutritional information already provided on the reverse of the restaurant tray liners, packaging and our company website http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/food/nutrition/nutrition-counter.mcd Providing calorie information at the point of purchase ensures over 3 million customers every day have easy access to this information. The majority of calorie values are rounded up or down to the nearest 5kcal except where more detailed information is already pre-printed on an items packaging e.g. other brands. Our nutritional values are calculated using information received from ingredient suppliers which is derived from nutritional analysis via UKAS accredited laboratories, or recognised sources such as McCance and Widdowson.Portion sizes are based on target ingredient weights and standard product formulations. Average nutritional values are used where applicable. The nutritional values of our highest selling products are verified through a regular programme of random sampling.
