Mars is committed to providing high quality products across our food portfolio. We remain committed to improving the nutritional quality of our products where possible, whilst delivering the same great taste to our consumers. We will continue to invest in research and development to continue this progress, and that is why we have invested £5.2million in a new research and development facility in Slough to support this work.Mars is a proven leader in nutritional developments - since 2002 Mars has been at the forefront of the food industry in reducing the levels of trans fatty acids (TFAS) in all of our products.Mars is pleased to be part of the UK Public Health Responsibility Deal, and as part of this has signed the pledge to remove all artificial trans fats from our products by the end of 2011. We will have removed all the artificial trans fats from our entire portfolio by this deadline.
