Committed since:

1 January, 2013

Delivery plan:

Submitted: 20 December, 2011

As the representative body for British advertisers we are concerned with the promotion of the restrictions of out-of-home alcohol advertising. The 100m exclusion for alcohol advertisements and schools is in place and working well with the support of the out-of-home contractors and their representative body. Advertisers welcome this helpful step.Issues concerning the sponsorship code, other than to the extent the CAP and BCAP codes aready cover elements of sponsorhip, are the responsibility of the promotions bodies. ISBA is working with the IPM in support of their actions on responsible sponsorship.Drinkaware as the body dealing with the non advertising elements of alcohol marketing has ISBA's full support.
