The sickness and absence management policy has been re-written to reflect the new guidance. This is available at: http://www.igd.com/employeehandbook/sickness_and_absence_management IGD is a small organisation and management of chronic conditions is determined on an individual basis with the employee and consultant. Examples of options available for management of chronic conditions include: - Phased return to work - Review or adaptation of the job description to ensure the employee is able to cope - Homeworking if this is considered beneficial
