The Trust is committed to offering staff wide ranging food and beverages that support ethical and wellbeing principles. Working collaboratively with our colleagues in the business planning team we will ensure that all future contracting arrangements detail our specific requirements that support the wellbeing agenda. The subject is currently referenced within existing contracts between the provider and the trust as follows:- The core menu should be designed with a view to implementing the principles of healthy eating - The general overall menu should ensure that the NHS ethos of healthy eating is not compromised - Marketing and promotional material will be made available to staff within the caféOur current food offering do present staff with healthy choices with fruit and low calories option being available. Fresh water is always accessible. In the forthcoming year we will work proactively with the hotel management services team to ensure that any future contract clearly outlines our commitment to the principles of healthy eating.
