In 2011, all branded glasses distributed to on trade customers have contained unit information on the glass. This will help to raise awareness of units across all on trade customers.We will continue to providing provide unit information on all branded glasses ongoing. Heineken owns 1,300 pubs in the UK and these pubs are run by independent tenants.We have worked with the British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) and Drinkaware to help develop the unit awareness materials for pubs - http://www.beerandpub.com/industryarticle.aspx?articleid=260. During 2012, we plan to utilise the BBPA's unit awareness materials in a way appropriate for our pubs.
