The health and wellbeing of the Fretwell-Downing Hospitality team is of paramount importance to the performance of our organisation and the recent move to our new open plan office assists in monitoring these aspects, on a daily basis and through the weekly team meetings. Absenteeism is monitored on a daily basis with more formal review at the weekly team meetings with the absence recorded against the individual employees record; in addition absence is also monitored on a functional team basis and company as a whole. All absence is recorded on four criteria: The number of absent days within the month, quarter, half year and full yearThe length of each absenceThe frequency within the month, quarter, half year and full yearThe reason for the absence The above criteria are also expressed as a percentage of the individuals, functional team and company's total working time.
