SME Cricketer Farm offers consumers healthier cheese

Since becoming a Responsibility Deal partner in 2012, Cricketer Farm has shown their commitment to support and enable their customers to consume a healthier diet.

As signatories to the salt and saturated fat reduction pledges, they launched their award winning ‘Eatwell Half Fat Reduced Salt Cheese’ for the food service sector. They now supply to Compass, who in turn has managed to save 27m calories, over 2000kg saturated fat, and 89kg of salt in the first 6 months of its launch. Cricketer Farm has also introduced ‘Cheeky Cow’ a half fat, reduced salt brand to the retail market, which sold out from Lidl in January this year. Both these products meet the 2017 salt targets.
