Alcohol Network

The core commitment, “We will foster a culture of responsible drinking, which will help people to drink within guidelines”, provides a framework for the work of the network.

The network is chaired by Henry Ashworth, Chief Executive, Portman Group. Jane Ellison MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health provides Ministerial support.

The network is comprised of a core group drawn from industry, local authorities and the public health community, which oversee the work programme of the network, and area specific sub-groups as required.

See members of the core group

Membership of any sub-groups is drawn from our alcohol partners and all sub-groups are jointly co-chaired by a member of industry and a public health / local authority representative.
