H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
Central England Co-operative has two colleague restaurants at Lichfield and Leicester serving, on average, 400 colleagues per day. We continue to work with our catering team to help ensure healthier choices are available. In 2012 we introduced more healthy and natural snacks e.g. nuts, dried fruit etc and placed fresh fruit next to the till. In 2014 we introduced a salad bar. Water continues to be free and visibly available within the restaurant and colleague working areas.
