1 January, 2013
Submitted: 11 May, 2015
Please provide the percentage of your standardised1 food and drink2 product lines covered by out of home energy labelling.1 Standardised is defined as a product that is offered for at least 30 days in a year.2 The pledge asked that "Calorie information is provided for standardised food and drink items sold", however this information request recognises that some partners are undertaking a phased roll-out.
The percentage of our standard product lines for which we provide calorie labelling is 100%
We have 1650 outlets, (of which 45 are operated as franchise operations).
A leaflet is available in all shops containing nutrition information for all national line products. Nutrition information is available on request for all local and national individual products. This information is also available on the web site.
A Balanced Choice range of products has been introduced. One of the criteria is that the product is below 400 calories by recipe.
All Greggs brand drinks have no added sugar. A range of flavoured waters, and Fair Trade fruit juices have replaced products with higher sugar contents.
You may also optionally provide this as a sales weighted percentage:
Please provide the number of your outlets providing out of home energy labelling:
And what this represents as a proportion of all your outlets:
