H3. Health & Wellbeing Report
1 January, 2013
Submitted: 29 April, 2015
Please describe how you report on the health and wellbeing of your employees, including annual sickness rates
Last year saw the successful delivery of a blood pressure campaign and free health assessments to all sites. There was an enthusiastic uptake of BP checks and mini health assessments, where cholesterol and glucose levels were checked. There are plans to meet the demand for further health checks across the business with health advice to accompany.
There has been an amalgamation of HR and OH health and well-being programmes since 2014 and Molson Coors are now working towards one Employee Wellness Plan which will offer physical and emotional support to employees, employers and expand our public health role to other members of our community (families and friends). OH are leading the health and wellness programme that will provide advice and support to all areas of the business to improve physical health and emotional wellbeing. The plan will journey through specific health issues in a rolling programme, starting with cardiovascular health, then health of the mind, then musculoskeletal health, including health challenges and individual accounts to encourage others to participate. The topics are chosen by registering health trends and health issues that are identified by OH and HR teams over time for example sickness absence trends, health condition identified in health assessments. The OH services provide specialist knowledge in local and national initiatives and in world health issues and influence the flow of the Employee Wellness Plan.
