H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
Cricketer farm continues to encourage healthier staff restaurants by:
a). Promoting the use of half fat low sodium cheese to caterers across the food service industry and has consolidated work within the Compass UK business which has in a major trial removed full fat cheddar and replaced it with half fat low salt cheese
b). Promoting and providing GDA analysed recipes and meals to customers and potential customers staff restaurants
b). Reducing the amount of salt, fat and sugar in recipes
c). Creating a range of healthier food concept and recipe ideas which have been utilised by Compass Defence Sector
d).The introduction of Half Fat Reduced Salt Cheese to Compass Defence sector over a 12 month period has had the following benefits:
Reduction of 45,300, 000 Calories
Gain of 1.5 ton of protein
Reduction of 5.73 ton of fat
Reduction of 3.54 ton of saturated fat
Reduction of 150kg of salt
Gain of 30 kg of Calcium
e). Working with a food business on a major new site development and recreating the menu plan encompassing healthier balanced choices and providing integrated nutritional and allergen information across a 28day menu cycle.
