H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
Approximately 72% of DCLG staff are based in central London. Over the summer of 2014, DCLG’s existing London office was relocated and the department now shares facilities with the Home Office. This change of circumstances means DCLG is no longer in direct contract management of its catering facilities. However the catering outlets provided by the Home Office already offer a wide choice for staff including vegetarian and gluten free options, as well as a fresh salad bar.
