H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
When contracts are issued for in house caterers on the construction sites, they must provide a number of healthier alternatives. Information on healthy eating, salt reduction etc. can be found on the noticeboard in the canteen areas.
Initiatives such as a trial of popcorn as a healthier snack alternative to crisps has been tried and a number of sites provide free fruit to all employees.
Drinking water is always available and hydration is encouraged through information signs.
