Please provide a link to the latest published information on the health and wellbeing of your employees.
The health and wellbeing of all Mount Anvil employees and their sub-contractors are one of the top priorities for the company.
Proactive health checks are carried out at every location, Monday - Friday and these can be booked via email or text to enable employees to book appointments at a time convenient to them. Information, advice and referrals to other healthcare professionals are made where appropriate and follow up appointments can be made with the Paramedic to allow regular monitoring of health conditions without the need for the employee to take time off work which could result in loss of salary and performance reduction for their employer.
Any lifestyle changes, such as smoking cessation and hypercholesterolaemia reduction are encouraged and are discussed depending on an individual’s circumstances.
A number of pro-active campaigns are published on a regular basis around all Mount Anvil locations including up to date information that can be found on the specific ‘Health and Wellbeing’ noticeboards that are located in the communal and canteen areas.
Toolbox talks are given to all construction site staff on subjects such as the danger of dust inhalation and the long term health conditions that can develop from poor management of a variety of common construction dusts and the implications these can have on themselves, their family and their careers.
Health and wellbeing workshops have been run at the main Mount Anvil office by external providers and have included; wine tasting, photography and other interactive, team building activities
Drinking water is always available and hydration is encouraged through information signs.
A report is compiled on a monthly basis and is reviewed by the Senior Management Team.
