Our organisational survey indicates this is an area that the organisation needed to focus on and we have put in place a range of training opportunities for staff and service users.
We have an Attendance Management Policy & Procedure in place, which are available on our Intranet site, and record our sickness absence rate and actively manage this as an organisation.
We have a Well-being policy and we promote this on our Intranet site as part of our well-being across the organisation. This is supported by a range of workshops that we have developed for managers focused on creating the environment that supports well-being, plus two workshops for front line staff that are delivered: one for delegates to consider how they look after their own well-being, another focused on how they support service users looking after their own well-being.
Our Senior Leadership Team and our Board of Trustees receive information on the health and wellbeing of the organisation via absence data that is considered every 6 weeks and allows us to drill down to specific regions within the organisation where there may be areas of concern.
