H4. Healthier Staff Restaurants

Please decribe how you and your caterers have encouraged healthier restaurants/vending outlet/buffets (as applicable) for your staff over the last year. There is a 2000-character limit when completing this section.
Our Health and Nutrition Manager has continued to work with our on-site catering team to ensure that menu options provided in our staff restaurant are nutritionally balanced. We provide Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) information for all main course lunch options and breakfast choices. The lunch time menu always includes a varied salad bar and a minimum of two vegetable options. We also offer free desk-side fruit each day and free hot and cold drinks including water, juice and diet and zero sugar options. We have recently moved to a new provider, Lexington, who has also signed up to the Responsibility Deal. Lexington will help us to continue to provide well-balanced meal options in our on-site cafÃ©, and providing nutritional information for its Letâ€™s Energise range, which provides fresh and nutritionally balanced food.
